My father is of that same generation-- one that is slowly leaving this earth, and he's still going strong but missing them all. So sorry to hear of your loss.Maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12334743538001803269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839358477265144981.post-26047892484949745562008-06-10T23:59:00.000-07:002008-06-10T23:59:00.000-07:00Oh Rose! Doesn't sound like much better company could have been waiting for him to arrive in heaven. Having just returned from visiting my aunts and uncles in Wisc, it really hit me what a big part of my life they were as a child! Either sleep overs at my aunt and uncle's who lived in town or the others who'd pull up in front of the house in a big blue station wagon from NJ or Winnebago from Wisc. every year or so. My sweet uncle Roger didn't look so good last month, and it struck me that it's likely I won't see most of them again before they pass :-(<BR/>But, Rose, I sure enjoyed being just a niece for a few days..<BR/>MissyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839358477265144981.post-45538351525090145472008-06-10T18:49:00.000-07:002008-06-10T18:49:00.000-07:00So sorry about your loss hun, but as we know death...So sorry about your loss hun, but as we know death is a part of life! I'm sorry about your loss. You made me think about all of my great-aunts and uncles who have passed in the last ten years or so. It IS strange that everyone else gets older right along with us! I remember when my aunts were the age I am right now. Ah, the cycle of life....dec0r8orhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18274925937977136327noreply@blogger.com
