Your beautiful thoughts that you have shared about him brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat because, of course, I miss my dad terribly and have for 25 years BUT to know that a daughter who loves AND treasures her father as much as you do still has him with her here on earth - well that makes my heart sing and I thank you for sharing your love for him with us. May you two have many more special moments together.
Happy Thanksgiving dear one - what a blessing you are to so many, including me.

Love,
KimAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839358477265144981.post-4931970877228334842008-11-26T14:49:00.000-08:002008-11-26T14:49:00.000-08:00Rose, what a lovely tribute to your dad! I talk to my dad by phone several days a week and I don't know what I'll do when the day comes that he's not on the other end of the line. He really is my biggest champion and trusted counsel. Coincidentally, my dad had double knee replacement last year and it has changed his life (for the better!).

Rose, you and your dad are absolutely glowing in your wedding photo. He is so clearly full of love and pride...and of course he is! :-)Amber Cargilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00254241543896488112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2839358477265144981.post-83504417974770347222008-11-26T12:31:00.000-08:002008-11-26T12:31:00.000-08:00How wondeful to have such a great relationship wit...How wondeful to have such a great relationship with your dad. I had my parents and mother in law for dinner Saturday, and every time they are there telling stories and hanging on my every word (it's a mutual fan club we have for each other), I think of how blessed I am to have them in my life. Thanks for the post. Prayers lifted for your father's continued recovery.

StewcarolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
